NEW DELHI: Telecommunications equipment maker Ericsson and telecommunications company Vodafone jointly launched a 5G lab in Spain, the Vodafone 5G Lab, for the startup ecosystem to develop applications and services for wireless technology fifth generation.

Software developers and publishers will be able to use the 5G network speed to develop new 5G use cases for the consumer and business sector.

Ericsson and Vodafone expect the lab to be used by more than 200 software developers and publishers in the first year alone.
